Summer Cutz In Buckeye
The Summer Cutz Program is an Aleph Centauri initiative implemented through a Sponsorship Agreement with Raheem Rogers at Nappy Cutz. Promoting self-care and indirectly providing some financial relief for clients, this program aims to serve the Buckeye area youth.
This pilot program provided 45 haircuts to youth of the Buckeye area between July 13th and August 31st 2021 provided in three sessions.
Personal grooming affects self image. We hope that this initiative alleviates the financial burden of paying for youth grooming services for some families. Aleph Centauri may expand this program in the future.
PROGRAM UPDATE
The Summer Cutz Program was a success. Forty-five haircuts were given to neighborhood youth from various high schools and elementary schools. As a testament to its success additional funding was received to enhance and expand the program. Due to our limited capacity program growth will be strategic and methodical to maintain program quality and effectiveness.

THE JOSHUA CUTZ PROGRAM
Funds have been secured to proceed with an expanded version of the program. Joshua Cutz was implemented in March of 2022. Aleph Centauri is seeking a licensed Braider for sponsorship.

WELCOME TO BUCKEYE
The Genesis Program is an Aleph Centauri initiative implemented through a Sponsorship Agreement with Temi African Braiding & Boutique.
Promoting self-care and indirectly providing some financial relief for clients, this program aims to serve the Buckeye area youth.
The Genesis Program will provide services to youth of the Buckeye area primarily girls below the age of 18. The program will be implemented between April 7th and May 31st 2022.
Temi African Braiding Boutique is a new addition to the Aleph Centauri Sponsorship platform. Both organizations look forward to a successful program as we serve the youth of our communities.

TOGETHER WE ARE COMMUNITY
Temi African Braiding and Boutique has done an excellent job for our young friends in the community. When initially approached by Aleph Centauri Temi's response was, "Of course, it's for the children." The launch of the Genesis Program and the pilot's success crested on her willingness to collaborate with our organization. Aleph Centauri looks forward to further collaborations with Temi African Braiding and Boutique via sponsorships, once funding is secured.
Raheem Rogers of Nappy Cutz continues to provide services to the youth through our collaboration via sponsorship. Following the success of the summer pilot the program has continued. He is dedicated to the expansion of the program along diverse avenues if funding can be secured.
