A Challenging Year

2020 marked a year of global turmoil as racial unrest, the Covid-19 pandemic, and political polarization tore at the nation’s fabric. Loss of employment and the shuttering of small businesses resulted in hardships for the middle-class, and those in economically challenging positions faced greater hurdles. Our differences provided no immunity against the forces which ravaged the nation. 

The Foundational Principle

Charity begins at home. If we listen to, respect and care for our neighbors the struggles in our world could be alleviated. Acts of kindness create positive ripple effects in all communities. Engaged citizens can fuel change. We are someone else’s neighbor. We can’t save the world, but can positively impact on our communities and consequently the world at large..
