Mission
Aleph Centauri was created to fulfill a two-pronged mission: 1) to develop innovative solutions for community-building by partnering with existing organizations; and 2) to assist community focused individuals with the implementation of mission aligned approaches to community issues, and consequently provide modes of cooperation that result in improved outreach and more impactful outcomes.
Vision
Community service starts at the individual level. Individuals who provide services to economically challenged neighborhoods may be unable to secure adequate funds to launch their initiatives.
In addition, smaller organizations compete with well-funded organizations for funds, and partnerships can ease the financial burdens of program implementation.
Some smaller community-based nonprofits occasionally lack the technical teams to assist in developing targeted and effective strategic plans.
These factors are determinants impacting the success or failure of an initiative. Aleph Centauri assists these groups on their journey to mission fulfillment.
We are one community!!
Our Vision in Action
The organization is working with an international partner to provide support and assistance to a preschool impacted by hurricane Maria in 2017 located in the Caribbean. Our support has ranged from teaching aides, learning resources, general supplies, meals and snacks.
In Cleveland the organization is developing an initiative in partnership with local businesses to provide specific services for students and children below the age of 18 in the Buckeye community.
Aleph Centauri is in the process of developing a two-year plan focused on partnerships with community-focused individuals who have launched their own community-oriented initiatives within the Cleveland metropolitan area. This plan will outline the levels of support available and detail partnership requirements.
Areas of Focus
Though the organization sponsors national or international projects the primary focus is the Cleveland metropolitan area.
